SIALKOT: The family of Pakistani prisoner Shakir Ullah who was stoned to death in Jaipur prison by Indian inmates has demanded to shift his body to Pakistan.

The deceased’s uncle said that Shakir was not mentally stable. He said that he had crossed the border back in 2003, unintentionally as he had no idea of his whereabouts.

An FIR was registered against the inmates involved in the murder of the Shakir Ullah.

The murder of the Pakistani inmate comes after India leveled baseless allegations against Pakistan of being involved in the Pulwama attack in occupied Kashmir that killed at least 49 Indian paramilitary soldiers.

The already sour relations between India and Pakistan have worsened over the past week as New Delhi blames Islamabad for the attack as the Pakistani leadership refuted the allegations.
