RAHIM YAR KHAN: A pack of stray dogs attacked and killed a minor girl in a Liaqatpur Tehsil of Rahim Yar Khan on Wednesday.
According to details, five-year-old Anum, hailing from Chak No. 36 of tehsil Khanpur in district Rahim Yar Khan was playing outside her residence when she was attacked by stray dogs.
Upon hearing the noise, people gathered at the scene and rescued the girl who was critically injured due to biting of dogs but she succumbed to her wounds before she could be shifted to hospital.
Residents have voiced their concerns over the presence of stray dogs in the locality which pose a serious threat to the lives of residents, especially children. The district administration has been frequently asked to launch a campaign to kill the stray dogs.
