- Who works whom?
It is said that patriotism is beyond questions. But a time comes in the life of a nation when every individual needs to question certain narratives. In our lives, it is high time to raise these questions. Questions as to why the bemoaning mothers of our brave officers and valiant soldiers who laid down their lives for our land became symbols of terror, questions as to how a 25, 26-year old young man operating on a foreign agenda and spreading anti-state narrative can expect a shower of petals in return, questions as to why the humanitarian sentiments of the candle-vigil mafia are limited merely to anti-state agenda, affiliation to Afghanistan or India and to the anti-Pakistan narrative. Why do the proponents of Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement consider every narrative that feeds the notion of a weak state is the primary notion to be dealt by the human rights? Why the chanters of ‘dehshat gardi k peeche wardi hai (uniform behind terrorism)’ are after the ruin of the country instead of trying to unite it? Why they are prohibiting raising the flag of their own country in a crowd addressing the issue of missing persons and which country’s flag are they trying to raise?

These questions are undoubtedly harsh and they should be directed to such a person not by a journalist but by the state itself. Now it is high time that the child Manzoor Pashteen face the slogans of state enmity ‘na-manzoor (rejected)’ and Manzoor Pashteen ‘na-manzoor (rejected)’. If we waste any more time in correcting the error of our ways, we will not be able to face our generations, those martyred whose mothers and sisters sacrificed their brave sons and brothers. A foreign agent kept spitting on their splattered blood and the nation kept mum. We remained silent when the slogans of treachery kept challenging the loyalty of our soldiers who sacrificed their youth for this motherland. Even more alarming situation arises when no one dares asking the candle-vigil mafia that where were their sympathies when the terrorist attacks in Pakistan were planned in Afghanistan. Where were Manzoor Pashteen’s slogans when America’s drones silenced dozens of our innocent tribal men in the name of the so called collateral damage? Where was Manzoor Pashteen’s Pakistaniyat when South Waziristan was soaked in blood by the Taliban and Pakistan army was the only messiah for the people of Pakistan? Where was Manzoor Pashteen when hundreds of innocent children were brutally murdered by the terrorists in Qundooz?
Had Manzoor Pashteen raised the anti-India narrative being one of the Indian citizens, their media would not have tolerated his existence. Why is his narrative getting even the slightest of the audience in Pakistan? Is not it alarming to hear anti-Pakistan and pro-Israel slogans in a country that has never accepted Israel? Who will be held responsible for receiving India’s blessings as a reward for igniting the sparks of hatred against Pak army among the hearts of Pakistanis?
It is high time to let the people know about the reality of Manzoor Pashteen who is implanting the seeds of anti-nationalism in our country. Son of a teacher named Abdul Wadood, Manzoor Pashteen belongs to Reshwara – a village in South Waziristan where Mehsud tribe is in majority and Pashteen also stems from this tribe. A brother to the three sisters and three more brothers, Manzoor Pashteen holds bachelor’s degree in veterinary from Gomal University. One of his brothers named Qari Mohsin has close ties with Taliban and he has reportedly been one of the closest allies of Qari Hussain – a man known for brain washing and preparing suicide bombers for Taliban. Allegedly Manzoor Pashteen also shares some close acquaintances with Tehrik e Taliban Pakistan and that is the reason the latter is the firm supporter of the Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement.

Mohsin Dawar, who was once a very staunch supporter of military operation in FATA and drone attacks in tribal areas, is another central character in PTM. Being a follower of anti-state narratives, Mohsin Dawar is considered to be Manzoor Pashteen’s right hand in PTM. Had the state of Pakistan been so unaccommodating and rigid, Dawar would not have been the member of the sacred parliament of Pakistan . It is quite evident that the movement initiated in the name of recovering the missing persons has been successfully high jacked by the powers for fulfilling their vested interests. This has not been the first of its kind case in Pakistan. We have seen Mutahhida Qoumi Movement (MQM) rising in the name of protecting the rights of the muhajirs in Pakistan and ending up to becoming so much anti-state party that its leader sitting in England had to seek help from India.
The president of Afghanistan, Ashraf Ghani, favouring PTM bears witness to the fact that Manzoor Pashteen is the foster child of anti-Pakistan elements whose standard operating procedure has always been using our own people against us and then portraying them as the victims before the international community. RAW has used India’s favorite Bramdaagh Bugti, Baloch who favoured the separation of Baluchistan and now Manzoor Pashteen has emerged as another pawn that RAW is using to destabilise Pakistan.
The question arises that impersonating itself as the voice of humanity, why does Afghan government not see Khalistan movement in India? Why is it that Afghan president does not tweet for the Sikhs seeking independence in India? The answer is very simple. It lies in the close ties between Afghanistan and India who together want to weaken Pakistan internally. Alas, our candle-vigil mafia and the black coffee fed so called intellectuals do not realise the gravity and severity of the issue. We have to think that unknowingly we are becoming the enemy’s tool in this war against Pakistan. We have to recognise the black sheep like Manzoor Pashteen amongst us. It is true that this is the missing persons’ case but at the same time this is also true that it was Manzoor Pashteen who rejected talks with Pak army on this issue. We have to open our eyes and see anti-state powers working behind this movement. It has now become a very evident game and the decision rests on us – the Pakistanis.
