DUBAI: Peshawar Zalmi owner Javed Afridi has lauded Lahore Qalandars’ patron Fawad Rana for the initiation of player development program (PDP).
“Fawad’s contributions towards the promotion and betterment of the game are publicly acknowledged,” he said while talking to a local media house in Dubai.
“The PDP program is phenomenal as only by investing on the real talent you can achieve big,” Afridi added.
He hoped that the “final of Pakistan Super League’s (PSL) upcoming edition will be played between Lahore and Peshawar”.
Hopeful for the revival of international cricket through PSL in Pakistan, he said that “the event is a major step towards the revival of international cricket in our country”.
The fourth edition of the celebrated league will start from Thursday in Dubai.
