CDA decides to build Malal, Burma bridges immediately

ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Wednesday decided to build Malal and Burma bridges immediately.

According to the details, Malal bridge will be constructed over Lehtrar road as traffic jams have become daily routine due to want of this bridge in the respective area, whereas Lehtrar road was constructed during the Musharraf regime but the bridge was not erected.

Directives have been issued to invite tenders for construction of Burma bridge.

This bridge will be built at the cost of Rs162 million and the PC-1 of this project has already been approved.

The second bridge will be built near Pakistan Institute of Nuclear Science and Technology (PINSTEC) and its cost has been estimated at Rs225 million. Its tender will also be invited soon.
