KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Monday directed the Additional Inspector General (AIG) Aftab Pathan not to harass Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) Assistant Manager Javed Pechuho.
The top provincial court also sought a reply from respondents during the next next hearing.
The court was hearing a plea filed by Javed Pechuho against AIG Aftab Pathan for keeping him in confinement without any reason and allegedly harassing him.
Barrister Zohaib Sarki, the counsel of the petitioner, argued that AIG Pathan along with the police force kept his client under confinement for many hours.
He told the court that police entered Pechuho’s house, threatened him and then detained him without reason.
Later, Javed Pechuho was released by the police.
