ISLAMABAD: The Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman is expected to stay at the Prime Minister’s House during his two-day visit to the country starting from February 16.

However, Prime Minister Imran Khan had previously formally initiated the conversion of the Prime Minister’s House into the Islamabad National University.

The Saudi crown prince’s security team reached Pakistan on Monday ahead of his scheduled visit to the country. The security team visited various places across the federal capital and reviewed security arrangements, according to reports.

“A team of doctors and a delegation of Saudi media persons who will cover Mohammed bin Salman’s tour have also reached Islamabad,” reports further said.

In December last year, PM Imran had said that the reason behind establishing a university at the PM House is to send a message to the nation that this government gives priority to education and to reduce the gap between the government and public.

He further said that “all the symbols of the colonial mindset will be broken”.
