Navy recovers huge cache of hashish from sea near Pasni

QUETTA: Pakistan Navy, in an intelligence-based operation (IBO), recovered hashish worth $30,000,000.

According to a spokesman of Pakistan Navy, the recovered hashish was handed over to Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) for taking further action.

The spokesman said that hashish was being smuggled via sea near Pasni. The said operation was conducted under strict vigilance, the spokesman added.

The spokesman said that the operation showed that the Pakistan Navy was active against illegal activities in the coastal belts of the country, adding that Pakistan Navy was committed to ensuring the supremacy of law in the Indian Ocean.

It is pertinent to mention here that last year, in November, Pakistan Navy, in an operation near Ormara, had confiscated 1500kg of Hashish worth millions of dollars.
