LAHORE: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) senior leader Khursheed Shah on Friday claimed that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Aleem Khan’s incarceration is an act of deception.
The PPP leader commented that he does not see justice being served in the case.
Shah said that he is not aware of an NRO [National Reconciliation Ordinance] either.
While commenting on the verdict of Faizabad sit-in case, Shah said PPP will take the decision to the parliament to ensure its implementation.
Shah also stated that he will protest against the mini-budget in the National Assembly.
Talking about relations with neighbour countries, he said Pakistan wants peace in Afghanistan.
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Thursday acquired a nine-day physical remand of Aleem Khan from an accountability court.
The minister, who was taken into custody as he appeared before NAB Lahore on Wednesday, is being probed in cases pertaining to owning assets beyond his known sources of income and an offshore company, and his involvement in the Park View Housing Society and River Age Housing Society.
