KARACHI: Karachi University Teachers Society (KUTS) staged a protest demonstration against the varsity’s vice-chancellor on Thursday.
A large number of teachers participated in the protest that is being held daily from 11 am to 1 pm as a campaign against vice-chancellor Professor Ajmal Khan. The protest drive began on January 18, 2019.
KUTS Former President Dr Shakeel Farooqi and Biochemistry Assistant Professor Dr Faizan Naqvi addressed the participants and demanded a solution to their issues.
The leaders demanded issuance of advertisements of vacant posts and raise in PhD allowance immediately.
