ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Thursday approved an Anti-Racism Code for all players, which will come into effect with the opening of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2019.

The move comes after Pakistani skippers Sarfraz Ahmed commented on Phehlukwayo’s colour during the second ODI in Durban.

The comment was deemed as racist and resulted in him being charged with an offence under the ICC’s anti-racism code.

“The code is quite similar to the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) Anti-Corruption Code with minor tweaks,” said an official press release which came after the governing body’s 52th meeting in Lahore.
