Issues with Bilawal resolved, says Sheikh Rasheed

FAISALABAD: Railways Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed on Wednesday said that issues between him and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari have been resolved.

During a press conference held in Faisalabad, Rasheed lashed out at parties critical of the new federal government, stating that they should instead look at the conditions in which the government assumed power.

He said that “we have been given a ‘looted’ Pakistan”.

“The public suffered gas and electricity crisis due to previous governments. Prime Minister Imran Khan saved the country from total collapse and his policies are lauded across the global,” he added.

While speaking upon issuance of production orders for Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif, Sheikh hinted that he knows why NA speaker Asad Qaiser does so on a regular basis.

He asserted that he is silent over this issue due to his friendship with the the premier or else he would have publicly stated the reasons behind it.
