Two ‘human traffickers’ held

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested two alleged human traffickers from Kamaliya and Burewala, a private media outlet reported Monday.

According to reports, an FIA team arrested Saleem of Fareed Nagar in Pakpattan and Abid Akbar of Kamaliya for allegedly sending people abroad via illegal means.

The officials said Saleem received Rs1.1 million from Khalida of Manikpur for sending her husband to Europe while Abid was arrested for receiving Rs300,000 from Talib Hussain on the pretext of sending him to Dubai for employment.
