Legendary Urdu commentator Muhammad Idrees has demanded the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to run Urdu commentary during Pakistan Super League-fourth edition (PSL4).
In a video message on social media, Idrees said that most of the people in Pakistan speak and understand Urdu but there is no commentary for them even in our own league. “Other countries like India, Bangladesh, and even Afghanistan are arranging commentary in local languages for their audience and listeners but not a single Urdu commentator is being arranged for PSL,” he said, urging the PCB officials to take concrete steps regarding this.
Sharing his video, sports journalist Hafiz Imran wrote on Twitter: “Legendary Urdu commentator Muhammad Idrees demands running Urdu commentary both on TV and radio during @thePSLt20 matches. @ImranKhanPTI @fawadchaudhry @TheRealPCB should look into this matter.”
