ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Sunday said that the issue of Kashmir is a critical part of the country’s foreign policy and Pakistan has a clear position on the matter.
The foreign minister on Sunday left for London to participate in events organised with regards to Kashmir Solidarity Day and will address an international conference in the British Parliament over the matter on Monday.

“We will raise a strong voice to highlight India’s continued atrocities in Kashmir in the House of Commons and present Pakistan’s stance on the issue,” he said while departing for London.
“Pakistan will continue to extend its political, moral and diplomatic support to Kashmiris for their right to self-determination in accordance with UN Security Council resolutions,” he added.
