PANJGUR: At least five people were killed in a firing incident in Panjgur on Friday.
According to details, unknown people opened fire which resulted in the loss of five lives. Following this, the bodies of the deceased were shifted to a nearby hospital and a probe into the matter was initiated.
In November, at least three people including a child were killed in separate incidents of firing in Panjgur.
Unidentified armed men riding a vehicle sprayed bullets at Muhammad Alam, who was sitting outside his residence in Chitkan area of Panjgur, killing him on the spot and sped the scene.
In another incident, unidentified armed motorcyclists gunned down a man, Muhammad Ikram, and his minor son in Washbood area of Panjgur and escaped the scene after committing dual murder.
The bodies of both incidents were shifted to different hospitals of respective areas.
Reasons behind both firing incidents could not be ascertained. However, the police after registering separate cases against unidentified assailants started an investigation into the incidents.
