Govt wants to suppress opposition to hide its failures: Bilawal

LAHORE: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Sunday said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government wants to crush its opponents to hide its failures.

The PPP chief, while condemning the occupation of lands of relatives of party leader Qamar Zaman Kaira, said that strict action should be taken against those who were involved in the occupation of land beside ending illegal occupation.

Criticising the PTI government, Bilawal said that what type of ‘change’ (Tabdeeli) is it where to be a relative of someone is a crime. Bilawal said that government rulers think that their government will topple the day they stop speaking lies. He said that people will not be fooled by the government’s fake claims and promises, adding that it is possible to come into power by deceiving others but to put the country on the way towards progress without a vision and ideology is not possible.
