RAWALPINDI: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has decided to develop a software to maintain the record of all foreigners travelling inside the country.
According to media reports, the government has directed the authority to develop a software amid fear of foreigners’ trips to sensitive areas without obtaining necessary permission from the security forces.
The NADRA has been issued directives by the government to develop such a software which contains all data of foreigners, reports claim, adding that NADRA has also been directed to share this data with the law enforcement agencies as well.
This decision was taken in a high-level meeting held here which was participated by the federal government and intelligence agencies’ personnel.
