Youtuber scraping bottom of barrel accuses other Youtuber of scraping further down bottom of barrel

Pakistani YouTube Zaid Ali T came down hard on fellow Pakistani YouTuber Sham Idrees for scraping further down the content barrel than him on his YouTube channel.

“I am fed up of this,” tweeted Zaid Ali in response to the Sham Idrees pregnancy prank.

“How long is this going to go on for? Is this the type of content we have came down to? We have such talented content creators in Pakistan.. yet this is the type of content which is trending. I have no words.”

Ali, whose earlier work revolved around minimal cross-dressing sketches, thought it wasn’t right to plumb new depths in the constant effort to get more views and that one should be content with plumbing the very same depths that have been around.

“He is absolutely right,” said Shahveer Jafry, another west-based Pakistani YouTuber.

“We should keep making fun of how girls take so long in getting ready and how brown girls are pressured into early, arranged marriages by their parents. That’s the decent, respectable, half-assed shit that we can watch with our families, specially our crying, dead-inside sisters.”

“Instead of making these so-called pregnancy pranks,” tweeted Zaid Ali T in a subsequent post.

“We should make videos instead about how lucky Pakistanis are to be living in their homeland, unlike us who are living away from the sweet fragrance of the motherland.”
