Taking advantage of the record snowfall in Hunza this year, artist Ismail Jatoori, along with his students, made a huge snow sculpture of historic Baltit Fort.
In a video making rounds on the social media, Jatoori explained the project, stating that central Hunza received a historically high snowfall this season, after 20 years.
“Taking advantage of the abundance of snow, I arranged a session for local youth, teaching them the basics of snow-sculpting, and then together they developed a model of the historical Baltit Fort,” he added.
The snow model looks great in the pictures as well as it shows the model in its different stages of preparation.
