FC soldiers, minor girl among nine injured in Turbat blast


At least nine people, including four Frontier Corps (FC) soldiers and a little girl, were injured when an explosives-laden motorcycle went off outside a hotel in Turbat on Thursday.

According to reports, the improvised explosive device (IED) blast occurred when an FC convoy was passing through the area. Rescue workers and law-enforcement personnel shifted the injured to the District Hospital.

The explosion triggered a fire leaving a plume of smoke in the air. The FC vehicle and a shop were destroyed due to the intensity of the blast.

So far no one has claimed responsibility for the attack.
