Former law minister and senator SM Zafar’s son on Wednesday passed away.
According to reports, his son, Tariq Zafar, landed in Karachi with his brother to be with his father, who was to go through a heart procedure. Tariq suffered a cardiac arrest at the airport and passed away, reports stated.

The funeral will be held after Asr prayer at Tech Society Mosque, Karachi on Thursday, the family sources said.

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar Wednesday expressed his profound grief and sorrow over the demise of Tariq Zafar, brother of former caretaker federal minister Ali Zafar and son of famous lawyer SM Zafar.
In a condolence message, the chief minister prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss with equanimity.
