PAKPATTAN: A lawyer’s clerk and two murder suspects were shot dead inside the lawyer’s chamber at the Pakpattan district and sessions court on Monday.

According to police, the incident happened when hearing of a murder case was underway.

Four people were in the chambers of Advocate Shaukat Wattoo at the time.

Police spokesperson Muhammad Asif said that the two suspects, Ibrahim and Ifrahim Malkana were present at the court in order to obtain an interim bail in the case.

However, Wattoo’s clerk and the two suspects were shot dead by unknown men. Another individual present on the scene also sustained injuries.

The injured man was quickly taken to a hospital for medical assistance.

Lawyers also staged protest against the incident, demanding authorities to apprehend the attackers. A curfew was imposed in the city and police are attempting to track down the attackers.
