QUETTA: Several passengers of the Akbar Bugti Express soaked in the rain as the roofs of its bogies leaked and dripped during heavy rains on Sunday.
The passengers complained that Pakistan Railways has failed to improve the condition of its trains. They said that during heavy rains on Sunday, roofs of some bogies dripped continuously.
The train was going from Quetta to Lahore when its bogies started dripping, soaking passengers down to their last piece of clothing.
Passengers complained that although they had bought tickets of AC class for a comfortable a journey, they faced hardship for several hours as if they were travelling on a donkey cart.
They demanded the government to take notice of the incident and improve the condition of trains on priority.
