KARACHI: The police on Sunday busted a five-member motorcycle lifter gang besides, recovering arms and impounding a truck with stolen bikes in their possession.
The police said that reacting to surge in motorcycles lifting and snatching incidents, it enhanced security and snap checking in the metropolitan.
During the search of a suspected truck carrying several bikes, five members of a motorcycle lifter gang were arrested with arms who admitted that the motorcycles being transported were stolen and snatched from different areas of the metropolis.
The police immediately arrested the culprits, confiscated their loots and started investigations after registering a case against them.
