Three Indian soldiers killed in response to unprovoked LoC firing

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Army troops responded befittingly to unprovoked firing along the Line of Control (LoC) by killing three Indian soldiers and injuring two others.

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of Pakistan Army, said Indian troops resorted to unprovoked firing in Kuiratta and Kotkhetera sectors along LoC targeting civil population.

The troops of Pakistan Army responded befittingly to the unprovoked firing from the Indian side, ISPR said, confirming that three Indian soldiers were killed with two others injured while an Indian post was damaged as a result.

On Thursday, it was reported that one Pakistani civilian was injured after the Indian army resorted to unprovoked and indiscriminate firing along the LoC which targeted the civil population.

Muhammad Mushtaq, a Pakistani civilian and resident of Tain village, received injuries. He was admitted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

The Indian forces resorted to unprovoked and indiscriminate fire in Khuiratta Sector along the LoC, ISPR said.
