Stalker throws ‘Taj Mahal’ on girl’s terrace in India, hits father instead

A man from Delhi has been sent behind the bars for throwing the replica of the Taj Mahal at his female love interest’s house. The man, who had been stalking the woman decided to propose to her by throwing a replica of the historic monument Taj Mahal which was built by Shah Jahan for his wife in the name of love and passion.

The accused, named Jeetu, threw a replica of the Taj Mahal, a monument situated in Agra, on the terrace of the woman who he had been trying to court. However, his plan of finally convincing the girl went awry when the replica landed on the head of the girl’s father who filed a police complaint against him.

In bizarre desperation, the 22-year old decided to throw the gift-wrapped replica onto the woman’s terrace which, much to his surprise, ended up landing on her father’s head while he was having dinner.

Following the incident, the woman and her angry family took to the police and filed a complaint against Jeetu, the accused. Claims stating that the woman had even been threatened by Jeetu’s brother of negative consequences in case she refused the gift were also made by the family.

While speaking to the Times of India, the 20-year old woman also revealed that she was constantly being followed by Jeetu for courtship. She also added that he constantly asked her to accept the replica of the Taj Mahal as a token of her approval.
