LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Thursday accepted an application against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Jehangir Tareen’s participation in government meetings.
The case proceedings will start from the next week.
Justice Abid Aziz Shiekh remarked that the Supreme Court (SC) had disqualified the PTI leader and an application against his participation is under hearing but Tareen kept getting briefing others in the government meetings and issued orders.
Lawyer Chaudhry Shoaib stated in his application that Tareen’s participation in government meetings is equivalent to mock the courts and he must be stopped.
