KARACHI: The family of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) lawmaker Khurram Sher Zaman was robbed at gunpoint in Karachi.
Zaman told the media that the armed motorists stopped the vehicle and robbed his family in metropolis’ Clifton area.
Expressing his deep concern about street crimes, the lawmaker said that elements involved in such activities must be handled with iron hands.
Last week, in a similar incident, former MQM-P’s MNA Khawaja Sohail Mansoor was also intercepted by unidentified armed men riding a motorcycle, as he left a shopping centre near Bilawal House in his car.
On January 8, former Sindh governor Muhammad Zubair faced the same situation when some unidentified armed men attempted to stop him in Defence Phase 3.
