ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) led government has opted to constitute a National Action Plan (NAP) in order to resolve basic problems the citizens are facing.

According to reports, NAP will be overseen by a parliamentary committee to resolve issues related to agriculture, water, education, health and other areas of concern.

The orders to form the parliamentary committee have already been issued by Prime Minister Imran Khan. All political parties are expected to have representation in the parliamentary committee so as to provide suggestions to prime minister in resolving issues.

Reports further suggest that opinions of overseas Pakistanis will also be sought.

National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser has also been directed by the premier to ensure that NAP is implemented and opposition parties are on board over the matter.
