ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday said that the ongoing accountability wave is responsible for the ruckus in assembly sessions.
The premier said this while addressing the participants of the National Security Workshop in Balochistan.
“The hue and cry in the assemblies are not because democracy is in danger but over our audacity to hold accountability,” he said. He also said that the new government gave the concept of ‘Naya Pakistan’ and society progresses when the law is implemented.
The premier said that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will open new ways of progress for Balochistan.
