ISLAMABAD: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Tuesday resumed the hearing of a case pertaining to the murder of Barrister Fahad Malik.
Fahad Malik was gunned down in F-10/3 in the early hours of August 15, 2016.
Arshad Mehmood, Nouman Khokhar and Raja Hashim were indicted in the case.
A prosecution witness named Muhammad Ayub also testified before the court with the defence counsel conducting a cross-examination.
ATC Judge Kausar Abbas Zaidi heard the case and directed the prosecution for completion of arguments to expedite the proceedings.
The defence counsel also completed the cross examination of Fahad Malik’s cousin and eye witness in the case Malik Hussnain.
It is worth mentioning that hearing of such cases is being carried out on a daily basis after a notice by the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar.
The hearing was adjourned till Wednesday.
