OKARA: A girl, who was kidnapped from the city’s Hujra Shah Muqeem locality and allegedly subjected to sexual assault, has managed to escape her captors and reach home safe, police said on Monday.
According to officials, an FIR [First Information Report] has been filed over the kidnapping and alleged rape of the girl.
As per the FIR, the girl, who is a resident of the Sadda Singh neighbourhood, has said that she was abducted by three boys from her house and subjected to sexual assault for as long as she was in their captivity.
One of the kidnappers has been identified as Bilal whereas no arrests have so far been made.
