CM Buzdar vows to provide modern health facilitates

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar said that the provision of standard and modern medical facilities to the public is his utmost priority.

While meeting with various delegations, the chief minister said roadmap has been designed for the development of Health Department so that modern medical facilities to be provided to masses.

“The purpose of reforms in the health sector is to provide standard, quality and modern medical facilities to the public … All resources will be utilised in this regard and latest reforms will be introduced to improve traditional healthcare system likewise long-term effects will be attained through these reforms,” he stated.

The CM said that access to standard medical facilities is the basic right of patients. CM Buzdar said, “Shortage of resources will not be allowed to hurdle this aim of betterment in health sector … the best, capable and professional workforce will be inducted in health sector.”

The result-oriented measurements are being taken to improve health facilities, he said and added that he is himself monitoring them while efforts are being done with honesty and good intentions will.

CM Buzdar further added that serving ailing humanity is the noblest thing to do and the health sector is a sacred profession and holds the status of healer for patients. He assured that doctors, nurses and paramedical staff who serve debilitated humanity will be encouraged.

The chief minister, in his message on the occasion of seventh death anniversary of Arfa Karim, said that she was the most intelligent and valuable daughter of Pakistan, who achieved significant success in the field of information technology at a very young age.

He expressed a deep sense of sorrow over the sad demise of renowned religious scholar Maulana Hamadullah Jan.

Meanwhile, the Punjab CM congratulated the newly elected Lahore Bar Association President Asim Cheema and other office bearers on their success in the elections.
