“Youth are being targeted on the various forms of the social media in this era of fifth generation warfare,” he maintained.

The students were also urged to positively contribute for the national development.

Back in the month of November, 2018, a delegation of journalists from Gilgit Baltistan, Azad Kashmir and Hazara Division had visited the ISPR’s headquarters.

According to a statement issued by the ISPR, journalists shared their feedback on security situation and development work undertaken by the Pakistan Army.

The ISPR DG apprised them about the situation along the Line of Control (LoC) and Indian Ceasefire Violations (CFV), including deliberately targeting of innocent civilians from across the frontier dividing the disputed territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

He said, “Despite restricted liberty of action for response to Indian fire due to the presence of our Kashmiri brethren on both sides of LOC, Indian fire is always effectively responded focusing on Indian posts only being a professional and responsible Army.”
