Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh has his way with humour and this time his Gully Boy co-star Alia Bhatt was the victim as he roasted her about beau Ranbir Kapoor.
During the trailer launch of Gully Boy in Mumbai, a journalist asked Alia about the similarities between working with Ranveer in the Zoya Akhtar’s directorial and her boyfriend Ranbir in Brahmastra.
“There are lots of similarities. The only difference is that I am doing ‘Gully Boy’ with one and ‘Brahmastra’ with another,” Alia responded.
However, Ranveer added, “One is a little more special than the other.”
Gully Boy is set to hit theatres on February 14. It is produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani.
Speaking about playing his role in the movie, Ranveer at the trailer launch said, “When somebody told me about the script of Gully Boy, I told them that it is my film. If any other actor would have been a part of this film instead of me then I would have burnt with jealousy. I was born to do ‘Gully Boy’ and I knew only I can pull off this character.”
