PM Imran visits hospital, shelter home in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: Prime Minister Imran Khan visited the Holy Family Hospital and a shelter home close to Fawara Chowk in Rawalpindi on Monday night.

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Media Iftikhar Durrani, Senator Faisal Javed and Federal Health Minister Aamir Kiyani joined the premier for the surprise visit.

PM Imran appreciated the administration for health facilities being provided at the shelter home.

“Providing a warm bed and food to humans in this extreme cold is a great service. Arranging quality facilities for the homeless is a commendable act,” he said.

“Taking care of the helpless is the responsibility of the society. The nation’s resolve to help humanity is encouraging,” PM Imran added.

On the other hand, the premier was given a tour of the facilities provided to patients at the Holy Family Hospital as well. PM Imran inspected the children’s unit of the medical facility, taking stock of hygiene and the provision of medicines.

Further, Kiyani was directed to submit a report on the hospital as well.
