ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Sunday played chauffeur to the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Mohammed bin Zayed al Nahyan, who had arrived in the federal Capital for an official visit.

A red carpet reception was accorded to the crown prince as he disembarked from the jet at Nur Khan Air Base, followed by a 21-gun salute and a static salute by a smartly turned out contingent of the Presidential Guards, as well as a fly-past salute with seven JF-17 fighter jets after which the premier and his guest sat in a Mercedes driven by the PM himself.

After reaching the PM House, the prince was given a guard of honour before the meeting between the leaders took place.

The crown prince left for the UAE around 3:00 pm after the whirlwind back-to-back meetings.
