Sheikh Rasheed, Bilawal Bhutto engage in war of words

Railways Minister Sheikh Rasheed and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Sunday engaged in a war of words through the media.

Earlier in the day, the railways minister had said that Bilawal’s politics were weak and he genuinely wanted the PPP chairman to fulfil his responsibility towards his party. He also said that Bilawal’s political salvation lied in him distancing himself from the politics of his father, PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari. He further said that Zardari had gained the most from the assassination of PPP leader Benazir Bhutto.

Later, Bilawal responded to Rasheed’s comments, saying that if the railways minister was commenting on his politics then he did not know who would run the country’s trains. He further advised Rasheed to focus on his job, saying that the people are suffering because of the rise in train accidents and the hike in ticket costs.
