Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former Punjab law minister Rana Sanaullah said on Friday that he has filed a disqualification reference against Awami Muslim League (AML) chief and Railways Minister Sheikh Rasheed.
He said this in a video message shared on social media. He said that he has sent a disqualification reference against him to National Assembly (NA) Speaker Asad Qaiser so that he could forward it to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
In the video, he lashed out at Rasheed, calling him a fraud who had damaged the Kashmir cause. “He is a fraud who has kept himself under wraps and his true identity will only be revealed in a medical examination,” he said. He claimed that Rasheed is the real owner of anonymous property. He further said that he has highlighted Rasheed’s alleged betrayal of the Kashmir cause in the application. “Rasheed runs gambling dens and is involved in extorting the masses and illegally establishing properties in the name of his nephews and nieces,” he claimed.
