KARACHI: Advisor to Sindh chief minister on Information, Law & Anti-Corruption Murtaza Wahab slammed the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government for creating an artificial water and gas crisis in Sindh and denying the province Rs92billion in the last five months.

Talking to media on Wednesday, he said that Sindh CM had thrice taken up the issue of additional 1,200 cusecs water for Karachi but the PTI government failed to make any progress over the matter.

Wahab slammed the PTI government for continuously taking U-turns by demanding for Sindh CM Murad Ali Shah to resign and then back tracking on the demand. He further said that Shah is the only person who has a political vision.

Wahab said that the PTI should focus on the federal and Punjab government rather than Sindh, as it cannot dislodge the government in Sindh.

He said that the governor was an apolitical and constitutional head and therefore he should avoid from political point scoring and confine himself to his constitutional role.

In response to a question, Murtaza Wahab said that much headway had been reported in the murder of Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) leader Ali Raza Abidi but he could not share more details at this stage.
