KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Tuesday, while reacting to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government’s allegations of corruption against him, said that the administration should bring back the looted money, yet first, it must work on its essential duties towards the basic issues of the nation.
While talking to the media, CM Murad said that instead of improving the state’s economy, the government was busy with unnecessary activities. If funds are not available, development cannot be achieved, he said, adding that he was not aware of what the government would do after their names were added to the Exit Control List (ECL).
He further complained of Rs500 billion reductions in the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP).
The federal government had claimed that CM Murad had misused his authority by intentionally extending illegal assistance to the Omni Group named in the mega money laundering scam.
