RAHIM YAR KHAN: Bodies of three, including a married couple and a child, were recovered from a house here on Tuesday. Four other children were also recovered from the scene.

ASP Hafeez Bugti said that passersby informed the police about some children crying within a locked house in the Tabbi Bagawar area of Rahim Yar Khan’s Sadiqabad tehsil.

The police broke into the house and during a search operation recovered three bodies, including that of Ghulam Abbas, his wife Bushra and seven-year-old Umair. Another child was found in an injured condition while three other children were also present in the house.

The bodies and the injured child were shifted to a hospital for medico-legal formalities.

The motive behind the triple murder is yet to be ascertained, whereas postmortem reports suggest a blow to the head with a brick-like object.

The police, after registering a case into the incident, have started an investigation.
