Punjab govt extends winter vacations in schools

LAHORE: The Punjab government on Monday announced to extend winter vacations until January 6 in governmental institutions of the province.

According to Punjab Education Minister Murad Ras, schools will remain closed due to the lingering impact of winter and foggy weather conditions persisting in plains across the province.

Earlier, the institutions were scheduled to be closed till January 3, 2019.
