Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Hamid Khan on Sunday seconded Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Rana Sanullah’s claim that Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry used to take bribes from people in exchange for favourable verdicts by a former Lahore High Court (LHC) chief justice, who is also his uncle.

Moreover, Hamid had authored a book in which he had said that a nephew of the judge, Justice (r) Iftikhar Hussain, used to accept money from people who wanted a favourable decision.

Hamid further said that there was rampant corruption in LHC in Justice (r) Hussain’s time. Justice (r) Hussain served as LHC chief justice from September 7, 2002, to December 31, 2007.
