ISLAMABAD: A police constable here on Monday was martyred while one of his colleagues sustained serious injuries in an exchange of fire with unidentified suspects.

According to a statement issued by the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT), the law enforcers had signalled two suspicious men on a bike in Sector I-8/3 to stop for snap checking when the culprits opened fire on the officers.
