A ceremony held in honour of the retiring Lahore High Court (LHC) Chief Justice Anwarul Haq was only attended by 22 of the 49 high court judges.
The 47th chief justice of the LHC, Justice Anwarul Haq served at the post for a total of 67 days.
Justice Shamim will replace the Anwarul Haq and serve as the chief justice of the LHC till December, 2019.
