SRINAGAR: Four more youth were martyred by Indian forces in Indian Occupied Kashmir’s (IoK) Pulwama district on Saturday, according to Kashmir Media Service.
Indian troops had launched a cordon and search operation in the district’s Rajpora region during which the deaths occurred.
People took to the streets in protest and started forceful demonstrations against the killing of the youth. The Indian police and troops used brute force to disperse the protesters, triggering clashes between the demonstrators and the forces’ personnel.
A number of people were injured in the clashes.

The troops martyred the youth, Ashfaq Ahmed Wani, an MBA degree holder, during a cordon and search operation in Karewas Renzipora area of the district.
The Indian troops also launched a cordon and search operation in Sumlar area of Bandipora district.
Body of an elderly man was recovered in Kulgam while another body of Rabiya Bano, a twenty-year-old missing girl, was found in Kangan area of Ganderbal district.
