LAHORE: Plans for Pakistan Hockey Super League (PHSL) are delayed yet again as the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) is combating with financial obstacles.

The hockey governing body, which is striving to bring back the glorious past, earlier announced that the PSL-like tournament would be held next year in January from 12-19. The PHF also requested for tenders for the tournament.

However, hopes for the conduct of PHSL as per the schedule are dim as the hockey body is financially struggling. Reports have emerged that PHSL will now be played from March 15 to 25 in Lahore.

Reportedly, 12 international players have agreed to participate in the proposed tournament so far.
