ABBOTTABAD: As many as 23 students of a local seminary were hospitalised due to Sui gas suffocation, out of which 21 were sent back after first aid while two were admitted in the District Head Quarter (DHQ) hospital on Tuesday.
According to 1122 rescue service, students of Al-Badar Masjid went unconscious due to the leakage of a gas geezer which was lit on the previous night.
The emergency staff of the DHQ provided them with first aid and all the students except two were sent back to the seminary after treatment. “The two students were admitted in the ICU and their condition was stated to be critical,” hospital officials said.
